Cracking ideas - £5 BLOSSOM

At this event 13 groups from Hull Schools will meet for the first time 13 businesses who they will be working with on their enterprise project over the next five months.

As part of £5 Blossom, each school is loaned £150 from their business partner and encouraged to make it grow, whilst learning about the Big 13 Enterprise Skills – these skills were first developed in Rotherham.

The skills offer something that will be useful for the pupils in later life, so they can be enterprising employees and or even own their own business.

At the end of the programme, the schools taking part will present what they have done and explained their enterprising journey to an invited audience including the Lord Mayor of Hull in the Guildhall in April 2024 and outline what they will be doing with the profits they make, 50% of the profits will be donated to Joy for Joel a charity that is supporting a young person with Duchenne.

If you are a school and or business that wants to be involved in this event please contact Mike Notarantonio by October 20th 2023 by emailing michael.notarantonio@hullcc.gov.uk
