Awards Evening
Our 20th Annual Global Entrepreneurship Week Celebration Event will be held at the Guildhall on Friday 17th November 2023, The evening will involve the announcement of our Annual Awards winners and music till midnight. The event will follow our usual format of good food and company, fund raising activities including tombola, Heads and Tails and Auction for great prizes to support Action for Ashley, who is a young man with Duchenne.
Please let us know by 1st October 2023 if you wish to receive an invitation to this celebration event.
The deadline for the completed full entry forms will be 1st October 2023, although we are encouraging early nominations, and judging will be completed by 5th November 2023.
There are 12 Youth Enterprise Awards this year and they are a great way to recognise the work that goes on in Hull and the East Riding in supporting our enterprising young people.
Award categories:
The Maxwell Bird most enterprising Secondary School in Hull
The Malcolm Scott Award for the organisation that has done the most to promote enterprising young people in the City
The Sheila Waudby Young Entrepreneur of the Year
The Kevin McNamara Most Enterprising Teacher
The Jane Disbrey Most Enterprising rimary School
The Newcomer to Enterprise Education Award
The MC4C Participant of the Year Award
Sharon Melvin Mentor of the Year Award
There are also some special awards for outstanding service to enterprising young people:
The John Cracknell Youth Enterprise Award
The Lee Creamer Enterprise Leadership Award
The Hull Youth Enterprise Champion Award
